Matrics Here I Come

Well, on Monday I will be off to Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, to start a new phase of my life, which I hope is only temporary because I do not intend to stay there for long, and I shall be praying hard for MARA to PLEASE be gracious to me. My mom says that it's too dangerous to bring my laptop, so I will be without any form of fun, stimulation or entertainment for a week, two weeks maybe?

But anyway, this marks the end of my long holiday since the end of Novemeber, that was just a little over five months, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but could have used a little better if it wasn't for FACEBOOK and WATCHING TENNIS ON TV which stole a lot of time from me, but ah well it was my holiday after all. I managed to accomplish some things, at least; I served God by serving the church, by playing for church in Kuching and Banting, almost every week, as well as by helping my pastor in GFS Banting. I managed to re-record quite a few of my songs, which I have meant to do since last year. I managed to start writing a story, which is probably three quarters to completion, which I can continue anytime. I learnt driving, and managed to keep accident-free, thank God. I helped my mother transcribe her interviews, albeit reluctantly and slowly. I made cards, lots of cards. I watched lots of movies, I followed American Idol faithfully (OH NO I MIGHT HAVE TO MISS THE FINALE COS OF MATRICS!!!) and lots of other things.

I don't think this was a waste of my holiday. It was a well-deserved rest after a tiring long year of Form 5, and with a well-deserved result to complement it. Besides I can't turn back the clock; like Master Uguay said in Kungfu Panda: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift! That's why it's called present!"
